Aleksandra Serafin
President of the Board and partner at TAAC Solutions. Aleksandra graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and post-graduate studies The International Tax Strategies at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). She is a certified tax advisor. She also completed with honours German Law School organized by the Jagiellonian University, Heidelberg University and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. She also completed a training for independent accountants.
Aleksandra focuses on tax issues concerning avoidance of double taxation, tax optimization models, income tax and value added tax.
She is an author of the publication prepared for the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) “Legal and tax aspects of the functioning of the Special Economic Zones in Poland” in 2017. She conducted several trainings for the members of PAIH, Swiss-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce and internal trainings for TAAC’s clients on outsourcing services, secondment and employment law, taxation in Poland, among others.
Aleksandra successfully represents clients in tax disputes with tax authorities, for example in terms of withholding tax.
She participates in pro bono actions, for example for children’s hospital Klinika Budzik “Businesswoman & Life 2013”.
She speaks fluent Polish, English and German.
